Anyhoo, Chalice Well is a holy well found at the foot of Glastonbury Tor (Tor is a word of Celtic origin, meaning ‘rock outcropping’ or ‘hill’) in the county of Somerset, England. As mentioned above, archeological evidence suggests the well has been in constant use for at LEAST two thousand years; and like the hot springs in Bath is believed to possess healing qualities. It is a popular destination for devotees of all faiths; and in 2001 became a World Peace Garden. PEACE PEACE look at the photo PEACE PEACE it really does make you feel peaceful.
